Description
OXYGEN SENSOR – 36532-ACK-001
OXYGEN SENSOR – 36532-ACK-001. Normally located in a motorcycle’s exhaust system (before, or before and after the catalytic converter), an oxygen sensor measures the percentage of oxygen in the exhaust system. It then reports the information back to the motorcycle’s electronic control unit (ECU).
In an overhead valve (OHV) or overhead camshaft (OHC) engine, the cylinder head contains several airflow passages called ports; intake ports deliver the fuel+air intake charge from the intake manifold to the combustion chamber, and exhaust ports route combustion waste gases out the combustion chamber to the exhaust
The main task of the cylinder head is to close the combustion chamber of the engine from the top. The upper part of the engine is called the cylinder head, while the lower part is the engine block. The cylinder head sits on the engine and closes off the combustion chamber.
